Decking is one way to extend the home and provide another useable area for living.

Most decks are timber based and are mounted on a substantial timber framework. This is framework is then clad in the required finish.

Each deck is individual, and can be designed as complex or as simple as you wish.  Creating patterned decks by
running the timbers in opposite directions can create a pleasing effect.

These areas can be further enhanced by deck up lighters and add a special feel to the area at night.
Complemented with exterior sound systems and BBQ areas, This makes the ideal entertaining space.

Also adding balustrades and railings can make a dramatic impact.
Not all handrails have to be timber, they can by made of wrought iron or a combination of timber posts and large diameter hemp rope.

Any changes of level are easily overcome and all decking is installed with anti - weed black matting installed underneath.  This prevents nuisance weed growth under the deck at a later date.
Elevated decks are popular, especially when you have a garden that can be overlooked and enjoyed from a height.

These platforms can be any height above ground, but are usually at least 10 feet up with a staircase leading up to the deck.
They are mounted either completely, or more often, partially onto a suitable tree with rustic supports taking the main weight.

The staircase can be straight of spiral, maybe even around the tree itself.
